Museums of History NSW is a new cultural institution that brings together the historic houses, museums and collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast archives and records in the NSW State Archives Collection.
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. Includes links to awards, printable posters and educational resources.

The National Archives of Australia holds material on immigrants and refugees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, members of the defence forces, government employees, subjects of surveillance by security and intelligence agencies, or as prisoners of war or internees. Records held by the Archives were generally created after 1901. It does not hold records of convicts, of colonial migration, or of nineteenth century Australian history such as the gold rushes or colonial administration.

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) works to support the Federal Minister for Indigenous Australians and to influence policy across the entire Australian Government. The NIAA liaises with State and Territory governments, Indigenous peak bodies, stakeholders and service providers to ensure that Indigenous programs and services are delivering for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as intended.
The National Library of Australia (NLA) is the largest reference library in Australia, responsible under the terms of the National Library Act 1960 for maintaining and developing a national collection of library material, including a comprehensive collection of library material relating to Australia and the Australian people. The collection ranges from the earliest European works about the Great Southern Land to the most current publications.
The NLA also hosts and manages the renowned Trove cultural heritage discovery service, which includes access to the Australian Web Archive and National edeposit (NED), a large collection of digitised newspapers, official documents, manuscripts and images, as well as born-digital material.
Access to CORIOLIS: the interdisciplinary journal of maritime studies, Whalemen's shipping list and Merchants' transcript (American whaling vessels throughout the second half of the 19th and early part of the 20th centuries), American offshore whaling voyages database (information from about all known American offshore whaling voyages from the 1700s to the 1920s), Fall River crew lists, San Francisco Shanghaiers and a Maritime Search Engine that searches across multiple databases.

New Zealand Government website providing online indexes to the following: * Births up to 100 years ago * Still births up to 50 years ago * Marriages up to 80 years ago * Deaths up to 50 years ago or the deceased's date of birth was at least 80 years ago The date coverage of NZ BDM fiche indexes held in the Family History Service are different: 1840-1990 Births, 1848-1990 Deaths, 1840-1990 Marriages, 1911-1960 Maori BDM. Furthermore, the NZ BDM certificate numbers used on the online index are different to the numbers used on the fiche indexes held in the Family History Service. When ordering online certificates there is an option to order a birth certificate or a birth printout. A printout will give the best genealogical details (but cannot be used for legal purposes). The certificate has less information on it.

The Noel Butlin Archives Centre (NBAC) collects business and labour records from Australian companies, trade unions, industry bodies and professional organisations.
The NBAC holds the records of large companies such as the Australian Agricultural Company, Burns Philp, CSR Ltd, Dalgety's, Tooth and Company and the Adelaide Steamship Company as well as those of smaller businesses such as pastoral stations. The records date from the 1820s to the early 21st century.
