Making Multicultural Australia website is currently being developed by the Office of the Board of Studies NSW (OBOS) and the Department of Education and Training (DET). The site will include more than 3000 pages of articles, research, teacher guides, lesson plans, audio interviews, video clips and Australian multicultural artworks. Its major purpose is to assist teachers in developing anti-racist materials for use in many subject areas. New research is being added by Dr Andrew Jakubowicz of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
MAPCO's aim is to provide genealogists, students and historians with free access to high quality scans of rare and beautiful maps. Featuring digital images of maps of London and Adelaide. Maps currently online include London 1767 and 1850 and Adelaide 1880. More maps will be added over the next few months.

Museums of History NSW is a new cultural institution that brings together the historic houses, museums and collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast archives and records in the NSW State Archives Collection.
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. The National Archives of Australia holds material on immigrants and refugees, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, members of the defence forces, government employees, subjects of surveillance by security and intelligence agencies, or as prisoners of war or internees. Records held by the Archives were generally created after 1901. It does not hold records of convicts, of colonial migration, or of nineteenth century Australian history such as the gold rushes or colonial administration.
